For Mrs. Neelam Malik, who takes pleasure not only in teaching students their curriculum, but also in sharing experience and holding a discussion with them started her journey as the principal of St Mary’s High School, which is one of the best English medium schools in Kalyan and later went on to become a director and then an educationist. According to her, starting a school is a strenuous process, setting up infrastructure, agreement, recognition and affiliations and so on… She believes that the evolving pedagogies will enable students and teachers to talk and examine more about its importance. Mrs. Malik love for education has helped her develop an essence for making learning a joyful experience. She has gone through the grind with St Mary’s High School, which is one of the best English medium schools in Kalyan. She also started Arya Gurukul a CBSE Institute and a chain of preschools- Little Aryans in 2006; all the school has been aligned with the Chinmaya Vision Programme of Chinmaya Mission. The journey that Mrs. Malik has taken so far helped her in raising from a Principal, Director to an Educationist. For us, her success means a lot, while she goes around fulfilling her passion as an educationist, she is also spreading the importance of helping a child get an education which is one of the most imperative processes to make the society and the world a better place. Mrs. Malik also takes joy in developing curriculum for Kindergarten students since she feels it is an interesting challenge to get children to learn as they play.
