WHAT IS S.A. (STANDARDISED ASSESSMENT) ?
The applicants who successfully submit their application form, are intimated by the admission office with the date, time and location for the S.A. (Standardised Assessment). A base line assessment that helps the teacher’s understand the child’s areas of improvement.
The child is tested in two subjects:
- Language (English & Hindi)
- Mathematics
Languages: In primary classes the student is tested for his reading, understanding, and writing skills along with grammar which he/she would have learnt in previous classes. In secondary Comprehension and content writing skills are also added. All these skills are necessary for grooming the child in Language skills.
Mathematics: In mathematics the student is tested for concepts and their application. In primary child is tested for the operations like addition, subtraction, Multiplication, and division while in secondary students are tested for applying formulas, finding areas volumes, distance speed accordance with their grade curriculum.
After corrections, the teacher’s remarks are written and the areas of improvement are discussed with the parents. All the records are submitted to the academic coordinator and Admissions office of the school for further process.
If your results are satisfactory, and the confirmation is received from the academic coordinator. You will be intimidated for the next step of admission.
